Overall responsibility
The primary responsibilities of the Associations Account Executive:
Supporting our association clients by managing all event logistics, from site visits, negotiating hotel contracts, working with conference committees to coordinate meetings, speakers and meeting materials and coordinating continuing education credits.
Day to day management of the associations will consist of new member admin, member relations, posting to client websites and preparing e-blasts.
Assisting association boards and committees with setting and achieving their annual goals as well as assisting with webinar coordination, special events or meetings as necessary.
Providing superior, accurate and timely customer service to Board of Directors, members, prospective members, and meeting attendees.
This position will provide internal and external support and services related to meetings and events, membership, association resources, and general administration. The right candidate needs an attitude where they are able to roll up their sleeves and pitch in at every level within the association division as well as with Celtic.
Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience, including meeting planning and event management
Professional, well-developed presentation skills essential for communicating information to outside venue management and decision makers, Boards of Directors, membership, company management and staff members and projecting a positive image as a representative of the associations
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail
Conceptual thinker and problem solver
Positive, team-centered attitude; with ability to work both in a team environment and independently
Knowledge of CRM systems a must as well as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Willingness to help with special events, meetings and acting as back-up for Office Manager
College degree in business, communications or marketing
Ability to travel, as required
