Summary of Duties:
This position will be in charge of managing ASAE’s relationships with organization members and individual members. They will be in charge of building long-term relationships with a group of customers and generally stay with customers for the length of their relationship with the company.
Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with members
Help members through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, members and executive association staff
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to member needs and objectives
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Communicate with organization’s primary points of contact throughout designated touch points of the communication cycle: 7, 9, 30, 180 and 270 milestones.
Forecast and track key account metrics based on yearly association metric/goal
Monitoring areas such as the growth potential within the market
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Work to keep current members satisfied and deliver exceptional member service on a day-to-day basis
Monitor and analyze organization’s usage of ASAE’s programs, products and services
Responsible for onboarding and integrating new members and cultivating existing organization member relationships
Liaise between the member and internal teams: Coordinate with ASAE staff working on the same account to ensure consistent service
Proven account management or other relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Experience in delivering member-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
5+ years of marketing experience with agency background desirable
Ability to use video-conferencing platforms
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent time and project management skills.
Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
Expert at Office 365, account manager related software and/or help desk support software
