The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) is seeking a Manager of Member Services to oversee the activities of our standing committees and support our educational offerings. This position reports to IANA’s Director of Education.
IANA is a non-profit trade association with a diverse group of 1000+ corporate members from across the intermodal supply chain. IANA delivers unbiased, relevant information and recommended industry practices to expand member’s horizons of knowledge, advancing business efficiencies and supporting professional readiness. By offering multiple forums for industry-wide collaboration, IANA breaks down barriers, maintains focus on the collective interest and build consensus on shared objectives.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator who can build positive relationships with association members. The Manager will engage members and foster feedback mechanisms that help determine major industry issues that would translate into committee and educational programming activities. The Manager plays a key role in establishing and maintaining committee agendas, tracking action items and facilitating deliverables. The Manager also supports IANA’s educational offerings through topic development and the identification and management of speakers and presenters.
Some travel is required to manage Committee and educational actives at IANA conferences and represent the Association at industry events.

We are looking for an organized, innovative and motivated self-starter who has:
Mnimum of 3-5 years of related experience within an Association or non-profit environment
Experience in project management with demonstrated success managing multiple projects and tasks while meeting assigned deadlines
An undergraduate degree (BA/BS)
Excellent communication and organization skills
Proficiency in current versions of Microsoft Office
The ability to quickly learn new systems and technology such as Association Management Software System (netForum), survey software (Survey Monkey), mobile apps, databases and project management systems.
Knowledge of freight transportation is highly desired
