NIGP is growing! We are looking for an energetic sales minded professional to join our Community Engagement team. This new team member will be our Member Growth Specialist.
As NIGP's Member Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for executing successful membership recruitment campaigns and member engagement strategies.
This position will have a dramatic effect on our member’s perception of NIGP and our ability to perpetuate organization growth, reputation and market penetration.
This position requires selling ability, a proven track record of sales experience using cold calling and email. You must also have outstanding customer service skills, a high standard of professionalism, be courteous and self-motivated. Your computer skills will also need to be advanced.
In addition, this position serves as an integral member of a one-stop Member Care Center.
Your Key Responsibilities are:
Member Recruitment: Execute membership recruitment campaigns. Conducts sales calls or emails to potential members. Builds relationships with potential members
Member Engagement: Manage new member campaign. Works with online collaborative communities to increase member engagement. Collaborates with member care and marketing on engagement strategies.
Member Care: Assists Member Care department with inbound calls, processes monthly member retention stats.

Your Minimum Qualifications are:
Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent
Associates Degree (preferred)
3+ years of sales/marketing/customer experience
Database experience (NetForum preferred)
Membership based organization experience a plus
