We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to partner with internal stakeholders to manage all aspects of user experience for all digital channels including online, mobile, and email. Lead the prototype and design process to help foster a culture of innovation at APhA, by making ideas a visual and usable reality.
The Primary Responsibilities Are:
Guide the overall design process for pharmacist.com, e-business, and other APhA online properties
Ensure a consistent end user experience for all APhA online, mobile, and email channels.
Serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet APhA needs.
Design, user friendly and modern digital products
Partner with Marketing and other APhA business units to develop a digital brand for APhA that can be used across channels and systems
Lead analysis of experiences through the lens of User Experience Principles; usable, useful, findable, valuable, credible, desirable and accessible.
Manage front-end development activities for pharmacist.com and other web properties
Facilitate the digital creative process within APhA by hosting brainstorming and collaborative sessions with internal and external stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in digital design, management, technical or marketing concentration.
Minimum 5 years of experience in progressive responsibility for managing day to day operations of websites and related programs
Demonstrate advance knowledge of web-related technology, and language.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of on-line marketing.
Extensive experience managing and working with various enterprise and open source content management systems (Personify eCM, Extron, Drupal, Wordpress, DotNetNuke, etc.)
