Who we are looking for:
Conquer Cancer Foundation of the American Society of Clinical Oncology is in search of a Sr. Database Manager to maintain and support the ongoing operation of Dynamics CRM within Conquer Cancer. The selected candidate will manage and maintain Conquer Cancer database systems by identifying and solving database requirements; supporting users; and working in conjunction with colleagues to maintain data integrity. What you will do:
Utilize and apply CRM expertise to develop effective solutions to operational issues within our Dynamics CRM including overseeing the development of advanced find queries and reports
Oversee the projects, tasks, and professional progress of two direct reports while providing ongoing effective coaching and mentorship
Use system knowledge to recommend ways to meet new business requirements using application functionality; ensure the database meets user requirements; create SOPs and training materials, and document workflow requirements
Work with our technology department to implement security measures and develop processes and strategy to ensure data integrity; partner with technical staff to oversee StratusLive system integrations
Serve as Conquer Cancer lead for implementation of system enhancements, changes and fixes, system configuration, and testing; and research updates/upgrade release notes to determine possible impact
Communicate frequently, effectively, and professionally with internal and external customers and vendors
Ensure a consistent response to problem resolution, customer requests and status reporting, and monitor all issues to ensure a timely resolution
Expertise with database management with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or CRM systems highly desired; experience with Gift Processing is a plus
Minimum 4-6 years supporting enterprise applications in a technical support role
Excellent Microsoft Office skills with an openness to embracing new technology
Knowledge of Windows operating system; Windows Server 2012 preferred
Experience with querying; and familiarity with MS SQL as a backend database highly desired/required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
Strong and methodical troubleshooting skills with superb attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities and operational demands
Proven ability to effectively manage, mentor, and develop staff members
